Global B2B Platform Strategy: Simplifying Complexity
I designed a data-heavy enterprise platform into a clear, intuitive interface by aligning engineering and business requirements with user capabilities. The challenge was presenting deep, necessary data without causing cognitive overload. By translating dense technical inputs into structured UI patterns, I made complex information easily accessible, bridging the gap between heavy engineering and usability.
Breaking Silos through a Physical User Journey Expo
To rescue research insights from static decks that teams struggled to translate, I built a physical "Empathy War Room" that forced stakeholders to live the customer journey firsthand. By pairing real user friction with targeted "How Might We" frameworks, the room turned raw data into innovative action. Within the first month, over 10 cross-functional teams self-assembled to solve the critical product problems.
Global Enterprise Learning: Data-Driven Cognitive Design
I applied human factors and cognitive psychology to overhaul a global enterprise learning platform, redesigning the UI/UX to maximize knowledge comprehension and retention. To track product success, I established a UX analytics strategy using the HEART framework. This paired behavioral metrics with product goals, turning complex user performance data into measurable insights for continuous optimization.
North Star Visioneering & Interactive Concepts
I led the generative research to identify innovation opportunities and establish 4 core hypotheses for competitive differentiation. I created future-state customer journeys and built high-fidelity interactive prototypes. This served a dual purpose: it provided the concrete vision needed to secure vital corporate funding, while serving as a framework to rigorously test and validate our concepts with a user panel.
Unobtrusive Mood Recognition System
I developed a behavioral coding system to analyze video data and prove that a system can unobtrusively recognize human mood through body posture and movement. The framework successfully mapped naturalistic physical shifts to distinct emotional changes without relying on simulated data, resulting in a registered patent and a peer-reviewed Springer publication.
Handheld Medical Device: FDA Validation
I executed human factors validation testing for an at-home inhalation device to secure FDA clearance. By managing summative usability testing across diverse patients, I mitigated critical use errors for unsupervised environments. This risk analysis proved safe, intuitive operation, directly supporting successful regulatory submission.
